I had been gifted this cheap chrome coated nickel rosary ring and after carrying it around for a year and noticing its rapidly deteriorating state I said to myself "this isn't a ring, its some kind of disc with a hole in it" and at that point i committed myself to designing jewelry. I had used 3d modeling software in the past, but the past is a time near and far. So whatever knowledge I had formerly accumulated had totally escaped me. Knowing my constraints I went for something simple, brutalist, something made as simply as possible while still wholly conveying it's purpose, and so the petals ring was born. I continued working on my designs in the background honing my skills in 3d design, and I'm very excited for what we have to offer in the future.
